2025 Conference
Transitions: Planning for the Future
Saturday, March 15
8:30- 3:00pm
Bishop Ireton High School
Alexandria, VA
Join the Diocese of Arlington, Porto Charities and professional organizer Anna Hall of Organize365 for a day of fellowship as we learn tools to facilitate the process and build a future of hope through all of life’s transitions from early intervention to the school years and into adulthood.
Whether you are considering the transition from early intervention and a family service plan to school and an IEP, or the transition from school to a meaningful adult life, you will find resources to help you. We believe that caregivers don't have to feel overwhelmed, stressed and isolated by the process, so we are offering a full day of learning and fellowship that will give you the tools you need to plan for the future.
The breakout sessions will cover topics integral to a meaningful life such as education, employment, recreation, faith, accessible technology and housing.
The conference will also feature a very resourceful and engaging vendor fair where you can meet representatives from agencies, non-profits, ministries and start-ups that can help you create a transition plan for your loved one.
Lunch and planner from Organize365 are included in the registration. Childcare is available for children 3-18 with and without disabilities.
