​Join Porto Charities' team as a volunteer or an intern

To ensure that most of the donations we receive go directly to our programs supporting children and young adults with disabilities, we rely on volunteers and interns. We have a small but motivated and friendly staff. Whether you are a college student or a parent of a child with disabilities, or simply someone who supports our mission, we could use your help!

While internships can be fulfilled from anywhere in the United States, volunteers are preferred to live locally and attend at least some of our in-person events throughout the year. ​Our most common volunteer needs are in the areas of: 

 

  • Social Media

  • Database entry

  • Event planning

  • Event site help

  • Photography and videography

  • Grant writing

  • Program Development

  • Vendor and partnership outreach
