No Room for Jesus

"She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." (Luke 2:7)

How ironic! Jesus experienced rejection even before he was born. While we might be critical of the innkeeper, how often have we failed to make room for Jesus in our lives? We make room for our jobs, our time at the gym, TV, social media, and a range of other activities.

The good news is that Jesus never stops knocking on the door of our hearts waiting for us to invite him in? Are we making room for him in how we relate to our families, work colleagues, or the person with a disability?
